If you’re new to The Anartist Collective at anartistcollective.com, we’re a voluntary anarchist art collective and creatives hub that’s free for all people who join and everyone is welcome. I believe that freedom of expression is imperative for expanding creativity and imagination and censorship is diametrically opposed to creation. It’s also difficult for individual artists, musicians, and other creative types to get exposure for their work on their own even on social media so I made a place for people to show off their talents where they can get exposure to a likeminded community while not having to watch their words and content to share their artwork. When artists have the freedom to express themselves as they want it expands their imagination and creativity and helps people grow as artists and people as a whole. And artists and creators of all experience and skill levels are welcome to join and share their work just to have a platform to show their work as well as more professional artists who sell artwork and merchandise, albums, and books. Breaking the gates in the creative arts and connecting people from all over inspires people to expand their skills, get into an art form they’ve always wanted to try but never thought they could do, get back into an abandoned passion, and even just developing a greater appreciation for the arts, what goes into it and the human beings behind the work. As this is a voluntary collective with everything offered for free, we rely on donations to cover the costs of operating both the website and our video channels. If you like what you see at anartistcollective.com and everything we offer, you can find ways to donate at https://linktr.ee/anartistcollective. We also have an Anartist Print of the Month available for $33.33 a month for a limited edition 8.5x11” custom print from one of our artists at The Anartist Collective on Ko-fi and The Anartist Collective on Patreon.
On top of our website, we also have video channels on YouTube, Rumble, Odysee, and we also livestream on X. Sunday nights at 8 pm EST is Anartist Open Mic night where we have a guest to share their arts and chat. We’ve also started the occasional movie watch party on Open Mic Night! And on Tuesday nights at 9 pm EST we simulcast Poppy’s Field Project, a spiritually-minded podcast cohosted by Anartist Miriah Meiers along with Nova and Matthew. We’ve also done a couple Anartist Virtual Art Tours with artists showing their work, discussing their art and having conversations getting to know the artist. I’m looking forward to doing more of these and there’s even more content coming to The Anartist Collective in 2025! I’m also looking forward to possibly linking up with more creativity-minded content creators to expand the network over the next year!
I’m not a religious person but I am spiritual and I’ve always believed the act of creation is an act of god. What we need most in the world right now is the very act of creation. Creating anything isn’t just about the end product but the process of creation itself. I appreciate all creative efforts and want to share them with everyone. It creates a butterfly effect and inspires people to get back to an old passion, expand their skills, and even pick up a new hobby that perhaps they never thought they had the ability to do before, and they in turn inspire others to do the same. The Anartist Collective isn’t about money and never will be. It’s about providing a judgment-free platform to any creative types that want to join and show their talents to other likeminded people. It’s about promoting creativity and making connections and when profit comes into play things tend to go south. I want to make this collective self-funding but anyone that sell anything on or through my site is 100% through the individual artist and nothing passes through my hands except my own personal sales and anything that might be sold specifically for The Anartist Collective and raising funds to keep this running. The only thing I ever ask of people who join is permission to add them to the website and on occasion ask for permission to use their artwork for the Anartist print of the month and everyone is free to decline. Anything I receive from Anartists is out of appreciation and totally voluntary. I may ask for occasional help with promotion as well but members are never obligated to do anything in return for being part of the collective. I want this to be as pressure-free a community as possible. Censorship, stress, pressure, it’s all stifling to creativity. The number one goal of the collective is to foster creativity and growth.
